Aico Ei414 RadioLink Fire and Carbon Monoxide Alarm Interface

The Ei414 Fire/Carbon Monoxide Alarm Interface is a flexible device that connects Aico Smoke Alarms, Heat Alarms and Carbon Monoxide (CO) Alarms with a range of external devices. Most properties now have fire and carbon monoxide alarms fitted, but in most situations these domestic systems are not connected with other life-saving devices throughout a property, such as Telecare/warden call systems, fire panels and fire suppression systems, including sprinklers and water mist systems.

Bridging the Safety Gap

This interface ensures that life-saving connections can be made quickly, keeping household occupants safe when faced with a fire or Carbon Monoxide leak. When the domestic alarms are activated, a signal is sent using RadioLINK+ to the Ei414. The interface identifies the signal as a fire, Carbon Monoxide leak or a service requirement/fault. This signal is relayed to the external device, which can then transmit externally to any connected devices or support centres.

Wireless Interconnection Without Compromise

The Ei414 uses RadioLINK+ wireless interconnection technology to connect with domestic alarms and accessories. The RF range exceeds 100 meters in free space, ensuring reliable signal transmission even in larger or more complex properties. A front-mounted key switch gives authorised personnel simple control over on, off and test functions, making it quick to commission the interface, prove signalling paths and carry out routine testing without disturbing the wider system.

Reliable Operation With Backup Power

The interface is mains powered with a rechargeable lithium cell back-up. This ensures that the Ei414 continues operating during power disruptions, maintaining critical alarm transmission to external devices when it matters most. Clear LED indicators show power, alarm status and RF transmission so faults can be spotted at a glance.

Flexible Integration for Multiple Applications

The Ei414 Fire/CO Alarm Interface can connect with Fire Panels Systems, Telecare/Warden Call Systems, Fire Suppression Systems, Gas Shut Down, and Plant Interface devices. The interface allows for simple testing of domestic and external systems, reducing commissioning time and simplifying routine maintenance without requiring full system resets.
