Dual Alert System for Complete Protection

The Aico Ei170RF Alarm Kit comprises a flashing strobe light and vibrating pillow pad, for alerting deaf or hard of hearing users when any interconnected alarms are activated. This combination addresses both waking and awake scenarios—the high-intensity Xenon strobe is built into the unit, with a flash rate of 0.8Hz and a wide light output angle, ensuring visibility throughout daytime living spaces, while the vibrating pillow pad produces strong, pulsed vibrations suitable for waking sleepers.

Wireless Integration with Your Existing Alarm System

Unlike traditional alarm accessories that require cabling, this kit links into the alarm system using RadioLINK wireless interconnection technology, making it easier to add into a system and causing less disruption to the occupants on installation. It may be interconnected wirelessly with up to 12 other compatible Aico alarms. The range of RadioLINK's RF signal is 100m with a clear line of sight and 30m in a standard property, meaning that in a normal installation you should have no problems with signals between alarms.

Reliable Power and 7-Day Backup Protection

It is mains powered, with a rechargeable lead acid back-up battery which will give approximately 7 days of power in the event of a mains power failure. This ensures your household remains protected even during power outages, a critical safety feature for reliable emergency notification.

An integral 'Test' button is also present on the front of the unit, allowing an easy means of testing the strobe, vibration pad and the RadioLINK enabled alarms in the system. The vibrating pillow pad can be mounted under pillows or mattresses, where it will vibrate strongly in a pulsing pattern suitable for waking sleeping occupants.
