Why You Need a Centralized Control Switch

If you have smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms on the same system, a control switch is essential so you can tell which alarm has sounded and identify which danger is present. When multiple detection types are interconnected, having a single control point eliminates confusion during emergencies and reduces response time—critical when every second matters.

Three Essential Functions at Your Fingertips

The Locate function silences all alarms on the system except for the one that was triggered, whether in an emergency or a nuisance alarm, by temporarily disabling the interconnect line between alarms. This lets you instantly identify the source of the trigger without manually checking each device.

The Silence function hushs all alarms, allowing silencing of false alarms with automatic system reset after 10 minutes—but if a fire or high levels of carbon monoxide occurs during those 10 minutes, the Silence feature is overridden and the alarm is triggered.

The Test function performs a true system-wide functional test equivalent to pressing the test button on all alarms simultaneously, without needing to reach each alarm individually.

This mains unit is compatible with Aico 3000 series, Ei2110e multi sensor fire alarm, 160e series, 140RC series as well as hard wired CO carbon monoxide alarms.
