The Aico Ei1000G is a powerful remote monitoring hub that connects Aico's SmartLINK and RadioLINK+ enabled alarm systems to a secure online cloud portal, allowing landlords, housing associations, and maintenance teams to remotely monitor up to 12 Radio Frequency (RF) devices across multiple properties in real time. Gone are the days of manual checks and spreadsheets—this compact gateway automatically captures and transmits critical safety data from your fire and CO alarms whenever events occur.

Real-Time Alerts You Can Trust

Connected devices' events are processed by the Gateway as they occur and cover events such as: Fire Alarm, CO level detected (High, Medium, Low), Button Test, Mains Absent Fault, Head OK, Head Removed, End of life. All data sent is accessible from a web portal where alerts can be set up to be delivered by email or SMS, and reports can also be run from the web portal to facilitate the management of the Alarms fitted. Whether you're managing single properties or large housing portfolios, you'll know immediately when any device is triggered or needs maintenance.

Secure, GSM-Based Data Transmission

Installed once and powered via a 230V AC mains supply (with a rechargeable battery backup), the Gateway securely captures alarm activity and environmental data and transmits it via the GSM network to a user-friendly dashboard accessible from any device. To ensure the safety of the data, it is encrypted in both directions during transmission using AES128 encryption. You won't need broadband or Wi-Fi to deploy this system—GSM connectivity means it works reliably even in areas with limited internet infrastructure.

Easy Setup and Ongoing Management

The SmartLINK App, available on Android and iOS, provides a step-by-step guide for easy installation of the Gateway and Aico RF devices, simplifying the setup process and ensuring a smooth experience. SmartLINK uses RF mesh technology to wirelessly connect Aico devices together and finds new paths if the connection with a device fails due to interference (insulation, thick walls, other signals) or failure, ensuring a reliable connection and peace of mind. The mesh network adapts automatically, so even if one device experiences signal degradation, critical alarm messages still get through.

Built for Multi-Property Management

Social landlords and property owners can access information, observe trends and create reports from Aico's web portal, allowing them to check device activity without the need to physically be in the property. Software is now included in purchase of Gateways. The HomeLINK portal bundled with your gateway gives you the full asset management visibility that compliance and safety require—tracking device health, recording all alarm events, and documenting your duty of care.

Reliability Built In

In case of mains failure, the battery can provide up to 72hrs of power supply. Three LED indicators on the Gateway provide at-a-glance feedback for power, RF communication, and GSM signal. This means your system stays operational even during power cuts, and you'll always know at a glance whether the gateway is functioning properly.
