BG 16A Single Pole Neutral B Curve 6kA 30mA Type A Compact RCBO

The BG CUCRB16A is a compact 16A 30mA single pole Type A and B Curve RCBO with 6kA breaking capacity, designed to provide both residual current and overcurrent protection in a single module. The single-module design fits onto a standard 35mm DIN rail and saves space within any consumer unit for simpler wiring and allows additional MCBs and RCDs to be added.

Type A RCBOs detect AC (Alternating Current) and pulsating DC (Direct Current) components, making this device suitable for circuits with modern electronics and switched-mode power supplies. It handles AC and DC current devices up to 16A with 30mA trip sensitivity, providing the sensitivity required to protect against electric shock hazards.

The RCBO features a positive contact status indicator to ensure correct installation and can be locked in the on or off position for added security. With a 6kA breaking capacity, it can handle most domestic and commercial electrical surges. The B-curve characteristic is optimised for general lighting and power circuits, reducing nuisance trips from normal inrush currents.
